About Me
My passion is in creating, researching and questioning Human-Robot and Human-Computer Interactions.
I am a senior Ph.D. candidate at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Jodi Forlizzi and John Zimmerman.
Taking a human-centered design approach, I set out to question assumptions around the future of interaction with agents and social robots. My background is in interaction design and media studies, with experience in product and project management, UX design and content production/editing.

Inspirations
HISTORY
We tend to get caught up in the present and forget the 200,000 years of humankind history. I find great inspiration for my work in previous cultures, rituals and artifacts.
THEATER
Masks bring out the magic in theater, especially neutral ones. The body can express so much when voice and facial expressions are eliminated. A perfect combination of emotion, movement and absurdity.
STORYTELLING
The stories that shape our experiences are a great source of inspiration. I am interested in learning from existing creative content and methods in literature and storytelling for designing new forms of interaction with technology.
DANCE
The ambiguity of dance evokes strong emotions and great discussions. I set out to implement some of the ambiguity of motion in my work.
